CLIENT CHALLENGE

Our client, a major eCommerce retailer, recently opened a new US sorting facility. The new site was struggling to align their PLC code between several different equipment manufacturers and reach full capacity. Onsite testing to determine the problem was disrupting critical operations.

This project was critical to get the site running at capacity ahead of the peak holiday season.

AUTOINTEL SOLUTION

We developed a Digital Twin virtual model of the system and onboarded all five globally-based OEMs working with the client. Their engineers were able to virtually commission the new equipment by connecting remotely to the Digital Twin and testing PLC/WES production code collaboratively in real time.

Within three months, the client was able to easily implement, find, and fix issues that were tested in the virtual environment, which enabled them to achieve their design rate and handle the peak holiday season.
